Senior QA Engineer (m/f/d) - Remote (starting June 2024)

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web-based product through rigorous testing methodologies.

Required Skills:

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web applications, focusing on API testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with the development team.
• Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Participate in the planning and execution of regression testing during product releases.
• Utilize testing tools and frameworks, with a strong emphasis on Python and JavaScript in our technology stack.
• Work closely with developers to reproduce and debug issues reported by customers.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and QA trends.
• Prior experience working with remote teams.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 4-5 years of proven experience in testing web applications and solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Proficient in Python and JavaScript, with the ability to write and execute automated tests.
• Experience with AWS for hosting and cloud-based environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, Agile development environment.
