Working Student - Machine Learning

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented working student to join our team as a Machine Learning Intern with a focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP). As a working student, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in the field of NLP, leveraging your skills and knowledge to contribute to our research and development efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the engineering to develop and implement NLP algorithms and models.
• Assist in data collection, preprocessing, and annotation for NLP projects.
• Conduct research on the latest advancements in NLP and explore innovative approaches to solving NLP challenges.
• Analyze and interpret experimental results, providing insights and recommendations.
• Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and project discussions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and tools in machine learning and NLP domains.
• Document research findings, methodologies, and experimental results in a clear and organized manner.

Note: This is a student internship position, and candidates should be currently enrolled in an academic program. The duration of the internship and specific start/end dates will be determined based on the candidate's availability and the company's requirements.

• Currently enrolled as a student pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of machine learning principles and algorithms.
• Familiarity with NLP concepts such as text classification, sentiment analysis, named entity recognition, language modeling, and sequence-to-sequence models.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, along with libraries and frameworks commonly used in NLP, such as NLTK, spaCy, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Proficiency in data preprocessing techniques, including text normalization, tokenization, and feature extraction.
• Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated passion for machine learning, NLP, and artificial intelligence through personal projects, coursework, or research papers (if applicable).
• Native level fluency in German is mandatory. Good lingustic skills in German language is a bonus.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience or coursework in NLP-related projects or research.
• Familiarity with popular NLP libraries and frameworks, such as Hugging Face's Transformers or AllenNLP.
• Understanding of data visualization techniques to present and interpret results.
